Senior Data Business Analyst - Global Insurance Organisation - Perm - London/City - Hybrid (2 days a week in city)

The Role
Focusing on a number of cutting-edge data and analytics initiatives, you will work closely with the business in implementing solutions within Business Intelligence and advanced analytics.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, gathering complex requirements, and being the conduit for the delivery of data-centric projects.
- Manage project backlogs, prioritize user stories, and facilitate sprint planning sessions using agile methodologies
- Ensure the successful implementation of data and analytics solutions by working closely with development teams and providing subject matter expertise
- Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure the delivered solutions meet business requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the data and analytics space
Experienced Required
You MUST have at least 5 years' experience working as a BA across data-centric projects within the insurance sector, ideally the London Market or a legacy acquisition business.
Naturally communication skills are of paramount importance, as are the ability of translating complex, technical information surrounding data solutions and delivering to a non-technical audience.
A strong understanding of MS stack technology, including Power BI and other visualisation tools such as Tableau is very important, as well as tools such as Python and R.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field will also be highly beneficial, as will any Agile certifications.
- Experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements for BI and advanced analytics solutions
- Proficient in data modelling, data visualization, and data mining techniques
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions
