Insurance Claims Experience Essential
Gerrard White is currently seeking a contract Insurance Business Analyst to work on the Third Party workstream of the Claims Transformation programme for a market leading personal lines insurance company.
Insurance Claims experience is a must, ideally in Motor and Home.
The Business Analyst will be key to the success of the programme and the role will involve working with suppliers, IT and the business to understand, define and write up requirements / use stories, identifying information and data dependencies and coordinating this work with other business analysts and the wider project and programme teams.
Deliverables:
- Working with the Third Party department to understand and document their requirements and use stories.
- Liaise with third party solution vendor within agile delivery to ensure delivery meets the business requirements.
- Defining software and data requirements, ensuring opportunities are fully explored.
- Documenting data feeds, system integration requirements and creating user acceptance criteria.
- Document and analyse 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes.
- Assist, facilitate and lead across a range of interactions from meetings, interviews and workshops.
- Assess and document the operational impacts of a project e.g. training and resource requirements.
Travel to office locations may be required as appropriate to undertake the tasks assigned.
We are looking for previous experience liaising with external vendor team on software solutions (preferred) with Claims experience, ideally in Motor and Home and experience of new system and data requirements with system Integration. This should also include experience of BPMN process mapping and process re-engineering and should be combined with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to think creatively and articulate innovative ideas to solving complex business problems. Proven experience of having managed diverse groups of stakeholders is also essential as is exposure and input into the User Acceptance Testing process.
