Business Analyst

Job description


We are working with one of the UKs leading providers of insurance and legal services. Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to come and work with the Operational Teams across all business functions. This is an exciting opportunity to perform a key role in managing change and helping to identify improvements for new systems - you would be the one to help drive the business forward.

There will be extensive stake holder management and because you will be working across multiple projects, we are looking for someone well organised, inquisitive, investigative and have a high attention to detail. You will be facilitating workshops and meetings, communicating with internal business units to understand needs of the various departments across the whole organisation. You would also be using data modelling practices to analyse findings, create suggestions, consider opportunities and potential risks attached to these suggestions in an analytical, informed and evidence based approach.

Key skills:

  • Significant experience in working in a Business / Systems Analysis role,
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements,
  • Ability to work under pressure within multiple projects and project timeframes,
  • Experience in analysing data to draw business relevant conclusions,
  • Strong skills in generating process documentation suited to the task and the business audience receiving it,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills,
  • Solid experience and understanding of the full project lifecycle.
