Role: Business Architect
Location: 2 days a week in Tunbridge Wells or London office and the rest from home

Join a rapidly growing and dynamic organisation as a Business Architect in our Group Transformation Office. We're seeking a talented individual to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing transformational initiatives across our business landscape. As a Business Architect, you will spearhead the alignment of business strategies with the execution of change programs, ensuring seamless integration between the change road-map, Target Operating Model, IT architecture, and overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Target Operating Model Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive models by articulating current, target, and transitional state architectures, offering a clear vision of the future business landscape.
Facilitation and Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to define and prioritise strategically significant business capabilities. Identify existing pain points and gaps, align capabilities with relevant domains, and unearth opportunities for reorganisation and development.
Analysis and Strategic Planning: Conduct independent analysis to produce crucial target operating models, including design principles, business capability models, process models, value streams, customer journeys, and delivery road-maps. Lead analysis in complex, ambiguous situations with substantial organisational or financial impact.
Business-Technical Alignment: Map business capability requirements to technical solutions, ensuring the holistic addressing of business needs and evaluating emerging technologies for their fit within business capabilities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of business architecture within the insurance sector.
- Proficiency in managing large-scale, complex transformation and change programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate and positively influence senior leadership.
- Flexibility in adapting work methods to align with diverse business needs and styles.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions is desirable.
