Join a leading commercial insurance intermediary group as an EUC Operational Lead during a major transformation programme.
Job Description
Acting as the EUC Lead you will be responsible for the design, configuration, distribution, and management of End User Software and Services (desktop, laptop, print, mobiles, and VDI tech) during a major infrastructure move before handover, ensuring a first-class level of service for end users, collaborating with global teams, and external vendors.
Working with tech and Endpoint Configuration Management tools that include ServiceNow, Azure AD, Intune, Windows 11, Autopilot, SQL and Qualys, you will own End User Services for a market leading organisation of circa 2.5k geographically dispersed UK based staff.
The Successful EUC Lead
You MUST be customer focused with experience as an EUC Lead within a complex, medium to large sized organisation in the insurance, or wider financial services sector, with overall accountability for endpoint configuration management and tech distribution.
Your experience will include working with Microsoft stack technology including Windows 10/11, Intune and Azure, as well as ServiceNow, and you will have expertise in the management of service desk and deskside management processes.
You will be an expert in distributing software and system management solutions within a complex, regulated, enterprise organisations.
It is also important that you have significant experience in patch management solutions such as firmware updates, service pack upgrades and vendor focused updates.
As a lead it is important that you have a background in guiding others, as well as being responsible for negotiating with MSP's.
Communication skills are paramount, as you will be liaising with a range of stakeholders, and it is critical that you are able to explain the 'so what' of technical information to a non-technical audience.
