Exciting Opportunity: Events Assistant!

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join a friendly and growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1+ years of experience in an events role, ready to get involved in creating, organising, and implementing unforgettable events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director in organising and delivering in-person and online events. You will also join an existing Events Assistant.

The Managing Director is looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual who is approachable and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration and coordination of events
  • Perform general office administration tasks
  • Conduct research on locations, venues, production, and entertainment options
  • Liaise with hotels and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution
  • Create engaging PowerPoint presentations for clients
  • Develop comprehensive timelines and manage Excel budgets
  • Occasionally attend events to provide on-site support

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has essential experience in events and travel
  • Proficient in OneDrive, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a sense of humour
  • Capable of multitasking and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Possesses a logical approach and strong budgeting skills
  • Demonstrates a solid work ethic and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable around dogs, with a clean driving license and access to a car

What We Offer:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible working considered for the right candidate)
  • Competitive salary based on experience (£23,000 - £27,000 per year)
  • On-site parking available
