Junior Property LawyerAre you an NQ Solicitor or experienced Paralegal with a background in residential conveyancing, ready to take the next step and start handling your own caseload?
We’re working in partnership with a well-regarded, small private practice based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Due to continued growth and a steady flow of quality instructions, they’re now looking to appoint a junior fee earner to join their successful property team. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to manage your own files (under supervision), while continuing to build on your experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, with support and supervision as needed
- Working closely with senior fee earners and partners to ensure high levels of service and smooth progress of matters
- Handling all aspects of residential property work including preparing contracts, conducting searches, liaising with clients and third parties, and handling post-completion requirements
- Maintaining accurate file management and compliance procedures
- A recently qualified Solicitor (NQ–1 PQE) or an experienced residential property Paralegal with fee-earning experience
- Confident handling conveyancing transactions (or significant parts of them) independently, or ready to transition to full case ownership with supervision
- A proactive, organised individual with strong client communication skills and an eye for detail
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in residential property law
This is a full-time, office-based position in central Tunbridge Wells. The firm offers a professional yet down-to-earth working environment and is well connected via public transport. (Please note there is no on-site parking, but options are available nearby.)
Salary & Benefits:
