A highly respected High Street law firm are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team.
The successful Private Client Legal Secretary will support a Partner, who has an exceptional reputation and is well regarded as being an "excellent boss and Solicitor". You will be assisting the Fee Earner in a range of Private Client matters including:
- Wills
- Tax
- Trust
- Probate
- Power of Attorney and Lasting Power of Attorney
The successful Private Client Legal Secretary will be responsible for a range of duties including (but not limited to):
- Drafting legal documents
- Typing through dictation - Big Hand
- Being the "first port of call" for clients (meeting and greeting clients face to face, telephone and email)
- Setting up and closing files
- Assisting with billing/invoice and liaising with Accounts
- Carrying out adequate compliance (e.g. checking/verifying ID, AML etc.)
- Supporting other Fee Earners and Secretaries where necessary
The successful Private Client Legal Secretary will offer the following background/skill set:
- Experience of working as a Legal Secretary (ideally within Private Client) - at least 6 months experience
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Be highly organised
- Be able to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Diary management
- Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Be a keen team player
- Have a positive "can do" attitude
