Practice Management System & Applications Administrator We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Legal 500 firm known for its genuinely friendly, supportive culture and excellent staff retention. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that truly values its people.

They are seeking a Practice Management System & Applications Administrator to take ownership of their PMS and support wider business systems projects.

 

The Role: Reporting to the Managing Partner/IT Partner, this stand-alone role will see you working closely with users across the firm, as well as outsourced PMS and IT providers.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, development and improvement of the Practice Management System, alongside supporting the implementation of new applications and system upgrades.

  Key Responsibilities: Practice Management System (PMS)

  • Provide training on the PMS and associated applications

  • Manage day-to-day system support alongside outsourced providers

  • Oversee user administration, system updates and document coding

  • Manage PMS upgrades, testing and implementation

  • Improve workflows, reporting and system functionality

  • Drive best practice and continuous improvement

Systems & Applications Projects

  • Gather user requirements for new applications

  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and outsourced IT

  • Manage testing and deployment of new systems

  • Support firm-wide IT and business change projects

Recent and upcoming projects include software upgrades, security applications, DocuSign rollout, WiFi and TEAMS room improvements, GDPR archiving and a potential PMS review.

  About You:
  • Experience working with a Practice Management System in an operational setting
  • Proven ability to improve system functionality and user efficiency

  • Project management experience including implementation and testing

  • Confident liaising with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable
