Job Description

As the EUC Operations lead you will be working within a multi-brand organisation going through a significant period of change, most notably a major infrastructure cloud-to-cloud Azure migration. You will lead on the design, configuration and management of EUC services (desktop, laptop, print, mobiles, and VDI tech) ensuring a first-class level of service for end users, collaborating with global teams, and external vendors.

Working with tech and Endpoint Configuration Management tools that include Service Now, Azure AD, Intune, Windows 11, SQL and Qualys, you will own EUC for a market leading organisation of circa 2.5k geographically dispersed UK based staff.

The role will at first focus on project-based work and oversee a small team of desktop technicians, technical specialists, and vendor distribution.

The Successful EUC Operations Lead

You MUST be customer focused with experience as an EUC Lead within a complex, medium to large sized organisation in the insurance, or wider financial services sector, with overall accountability for endpoint configuration management and tech distribution.

Your experience will include working with Microsoft stack technology including Windows 10/11, Intune and Azure, as well as Service Now, and you will have expertise in the management of service desk and deskside management processes.

As a lead it is important that you have a background in managing others, and are comfortable in managing a team within a fast paced period of change, as well as being responsible for negotiating with MSP's.

Communication skills are paramount, as you will be liaising with a range of stakeholders , and it is critical that you are able to explain the 'so what' of technical information to a non-technical audience.
