We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Junior to Intermediate level specialising in C#/MVC/Web/SQL) to join our development team in Portsmouth and to work with existing web and application developers on a range of transactional web applications for our insurance business.
A successful candidate will be dynamic, reliable and willing with an opportunity to become involved in a variety of tasks ranging from application design, front-end and server-side development. The team works on the agile methodology, so you can expect plenty of interaction with stakeholders, daily stand-ups and sprint planning/retrospective meetings.

Job Title: Full Stack C# Developer (Junior)
Location: Must be commutable twice a week to our site in Portsmouth

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our e-commerce web sites and highly transactional applications. This includes mobile and tablet capable site and application development.
- Developing functional enhancements for our business stakeholders and diagnosing and fixing issues raised with our main insurance platform and customer facing ecommerce sites.
Required Skills:
- Experience of server-side development with C#, Asp.Net MVC, Razor and SQL Server.
- AngularJS & Angular as well as some previous experience of Web-Forms
- Knowledge of XML, SOAP, REST and JSON web-services with WCF & WebAPI as well as AJAX technologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOps principles such as deployment automation solutions including TeamCity, OctoDeploy and PowerShell would be ideal.
- Experience with Azure and cloud computing principles - including Git, CI/CD, Service Fabric and Micro-Service architecture highly desirable.
- Ability to create cross browser compatible websites using W3C standards with front-end web development experience including HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS, Bootstrap 3 & 4 and JQuery/JavaScript.
- Hands on experience of creating, updating and debugging AngularJS and Angular client-side UI functionality.
