IT Project Manager

Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against these parameters.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress, report on key metrics, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including team members, equipment, and budget allocation.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
