Conveyancing Legal Secretary. A highly respected, busy law firm with an established client base are currently seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their friendly, supportive and professional firm, based in Tunbridge Wells.
The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will primarily support a highly regarded Solicitor.
The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will be responsible for duties such as (but not limited to):
- Opening and closing files
- Updating clients
- Digital dictation
- Producing and editing legal documents
- Providing quotations
- Liaising with Accounts team to raise invoices
- ID & AML checks
- Checking of key documents
- Taking phone calls
- Searches
The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will offer the following skill set/background:
- Prior experience as a secretary, with solid admin/secretarial experience (we are open to candidates with a background in other areas of law or secretarial experience from other sectors)
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Be presentable
- Be accountable and take responsibility
- Offer excellent communication skills - written, verbal and face to face
- Willingness to learn
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- The ability to remain calm when under pressure
- Be a keen team player
