Conveyancing Legal Secretary. A highly respected, busy law firm with an established client base are currently seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their friendly, supportive and professional firm, based in Tunbridge Wells.

The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will primarily support a highly regarded Solicitor.
The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will be responsible for duties such as (but not limited to):

  • Opening and closing files
  • Updating clients
  • Digital dictation
  • Producing and editing legal documents
  • Providing quotations
  • Liaising with Accounts team to raise invoices
  • ID & AML checks
  • Checking of key documents
  • Taking phone calls
  • Searches


The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will offer the following skill set/background:

  • Prior experience as a secretary, with solid admin/secretarial experience (we are open to candidates with a background in other areas of law or secretarial experience from other sectors)
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Be presentable
  • Be accountable and take responsibility
  • Offer excellent communication skills - written, verbal and face to face
  • Willingness to learn
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Be a keen team player
