Senior Compliance Manager - Pension Trustee & Governance Organisation - Immediate Start - London/Hybrid

The role
Leading Compliance for the business you will pro-actively manage the compliance framework, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
This is a varied position that encompasses data protection, anti-money laundering (AML), health and safety (H&S), authorised signatories management, compliance reporting, and responding to client and regulatory queries. As the designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), the role also includes leading data protection initiatives and acting as the key contact for the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
The position will underpin operational process improvement to ensure robust compliance and enforcement of best practices within a non-regulated business, that includes management of TPR requirements.
Duties will also include:
- Produce and review monthly and quarterly reports for management and board meetings relating to trustee schemes amongst other verticals the role oversees.
- Manage supplier contracts, approve invoices, and ensure accurate submissions to regulatory bodies like the TPR.
Required Skills
The ideal compliance manager will have operated in a Compliance Management or Head of Compliance role within professional services, and ideally also have knowledge of how Pension Trustee and Governance businesses work, and how a relationship with the TPR (Pensions Regulator) is managed.
It is paramount that you have created and implemented processes and frameworks, and any experience with process unification within merged businesses will be highly advantageous.
Your communication skills must be first-class, with an ability to bring stakeholders at all levels on-board with process, and the importance of compliance.
- Professional certification in compliance, such as CIPP/E, ICA, or similar, preferred.
- Proven experience in a compliance or regulatory role, ideally within financial services or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR), AML regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
This position is an immediate start and initially an FTC with good prospects of developing to a permanent placement.
This will be a role based out of central London offices 2 days a week with the remainder at home, and some UK travel required to other company locations.
