Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer
A fantastic and unique opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic fee-earner to join a highly regarded, specialist property firm, based in Central London.
This firm have an exceptional reputation and you will be joining a team of highly experienced Lawyers.
About You
In order to be considered for the position, you must be a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer or legal executive with at least 1 year of experience in residential property law.
The successful candidate must have a professional proactive approach to working as well as excellent client care skills and an understanding of individual client needs.
The Role
You will be comfortable with regular client contact, face-to-face, by telephone and by email. You will be able to handle your own caseload while working closely with the partners. The duties of this position include all aspects of residential conveyancing.
Duties:
- Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing files from start to finish
- Conduct title searches and review search results
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and mortgages
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
- Ensure all deadlines are met and files are closed in a timely manner
Person Specification and experience required:
- Minimum of 1 year PQE (in residential conveyancing).
- Confident in running sale and purchase files including freehold and leasehold
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of files
- Experience of working with referral work
- Experience of portal work
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Excellent communication and client care skills
