A well-established Legal 500 firm covering the London/Surrey area is seeking a Junior Litigation Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) to join its expanding Dispute Resolution team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified or early-career Solicitor looking to develop their skills and experience within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You will be joining a small, collaborative team where you’ll gain hands-on exposure across a wide range of contentious matters and work directly with senior solicitors.
The Role The successful candidate will assist in managing a varied caseload across:
- Property litigation, including landlord and tenant matters
- Debt recovery
- Non-contentious employment law
- Contentious probate
- General commercial disputes
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with a range of litigation and dispute resolution cases.
- Conduct legal research, prepare court documents, and draft correspondence.
- Support senior solicitors in case preparation, client meetings, and hearings.
- Liaise directly with clients, assessing risks, costs, and potential outcomes.
- Contribute to case strategy and work collaboratively to achieve client goals.
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) or equivalent experience in litigation/dispute resolution.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proactive and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident handling client relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within dispute resolution.
- Competitive salary of £50,000 (NQ level).
